Sara has a bachelor of science degree from UCSB and is working towards becoming a Registered Nurse. She has worked with Dr. Stokes long enough to know several aspects of the practice. Since returning to school, Sara now works part time doing everything from answering phones to helping with pre/post operative care, gathering data for research assignments, and assisting in surgery.
Dana Clark
Registered Nurse

Dana coordinates all pre and post operative care of surgical patients. He is present for all Santa Barbara based surgeries, overseeing the smooth operation of the operating day. In addition, he performs circulating and/or recovery duties in the operating room. Dana is often the primary person you reach after hours if you have questions or concerns about your surgery.
Nena Santoyo
Certified Scrub Technician

Nena is Dr. Stokes' personal surgical assistant. She scrubs in on every Santa Barbara case, and is responsible for sterilization and maintenance of all the surgical equipment. Nena orders all surgical supplies for our practice, and sometimes assists with consultations and post-operative care.

Samantha and Nicole coordinate overall patient care for Dr. Stokes. Their job is to oversee your surgical experience and make sure things run smoothly from start to finish. They will talk with you when you first call the office, schedule your consultation and your surgery, make hotel reservations if necessary, and guide you through the post operative days. Both Samantha and Nicole are compassionate, positive and nurturing care providers.
